The Central Park Conservancy Institute for Urban Parks and the City University of New York School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) are pleased to announce the Urban Park Executive Leadership Program.
The program will be held in New
York City, close to Central Park, from Monday, March 19 to Friday, March 23,
2018.
The one-time, introductory
program registration fee for this pilot session is $1750, per person, excluding
travel and lodging. Upon acceptance, you will receive information about
suggested hotel accommodations and optional evening activities.
Drawing on its expertise in urban park management, the
Central Park Conservancy Institute for Urban Parks, in partnership with CUNY
SPS, has developed a five-day program that will provide participants with
skills and information that enhance their ability to successfully manage an
urban park as part of a public-private park partnership.
The program is currently anticipated to consist of
four days of classroom activity plus a one-day practicum, during which the
participants can interact with and learn directly from Conservancy staff.
To learn more about this exciting opportunity, please
register and attend one of our upcoming informational webinars on Monday, December 18 at
12:00 pm EST, or Monday, January 8 at
12:00 pm EST.
Completed applications are due by Thursday, February
1, 2018 at 5:00 pm EST.
